Position: Skills Trainer
Location: Appleton, WI

We are currently accepting applications for a Skills Trainer in Appleton, WI – Skills Trainers help individuals learn the skills required to perform designated jobs to an employer’s specifications, and help clients develop necessary interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates would have experience supporting individuals with mental health issues, developmental disabilities, and challenging behaviors with successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
-Understand fully the responsibilities of the individual’s position
-Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the employer.
-Help teach appropriate social behavior
-Support individuals in learning skills that may help them gain and/or maintain employment.
-Use good judgment, make reasonable decisions and demonstrate a regard for safety
