We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to join our team as it grows throughout the Fox Valley. Our team of dedicated individuals are committed to flexible, accessible and family-centered supports and services that honor the dignity, respect the rights, and maximize the potential of each individual to give them the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
These positions involve providing supports and services to a semi-verbal individual young male with a Autism, varying mental health diagnosis and managing extreme behaviors. Activities would include providing assistance with social skills and daily living skills. He enjoys community activities, sensory activities, van rides, swimming, and television.
This young individual is bright and affectionate but struggles with severe behaviors. These behaviors include but are not limited to biting, pinching, kicking, hitting staff, and severe self injury including head banging, hitting, biting, etc. Implementation of individualized goals is done through establishment of safe and healthy environments while providing quality services to this individual. Staff members follow a specific routine while working in the home and are provided with carefully outlined behavior support plan and crisis plan to follow. Personal protective equipment is provided to ensure client and staff safety.
We are searching for positive, energetic individuals with the desire to make a difference in people’s lives! A two-year or four-year degree in a related filed and experience working with developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnosis is desired- however comprehensive paid training is provided.
All Youth Behavior Specialist positions require a commitment of every other weekend and rotating holidays. Extensive training and background check is required to work at this program. To be eligible for a Youth Behavior Specialist position, you must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid Wisconsin’s driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record and state minimum automobile insurance and have at least one-year experience managing challenging behaviors.

To be approved for a transfer, you must meet the following specifications:
- Be out of your 90 day introductory period.
- Be in good standing (no disciplinary action in last 6 months beyond written).
- Have been at current program for 90 days.
These transfer requests are good for 6 months and final approval lies with Program manager and District manager.
