Position: Youth Behavior Specialist
Location: Wausau, WI

Innovative Services has been providing community-based youth supports since 2007. The focus of our youth services is on maximizing natural supports in the youths’ own environments. As a Youth Behavioral Specialist, you will provide support and services to youth with varying diagnoses (ADD, ADHD, Bipolar, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorder, Autism, etc.) by working on individualized goals such as community integration, appropriate social skills, anger management/coping skills, and daily living skills. Services provided teach these individuals how to manage mental illness symptoms, as well as overcome barriers.

Our Youth program is located in Wausau, with services provided throughout Marathon County and surrounding locations.  Ideal candidates would have experience supporting youth with challenging behaviors with successful outcomes. Starting pay for this position ranges between $11 to $15.00 an hour. A higher wage is based on a candidate having a qualifying degree in Human Services or Education.

Youth Behavioral Specialists are required to receive supervision on a regular basis, as well as attend meetings to discuss progress towards goals.  A flexible schedule is preferred.
