Position: Direct Support Professional - Float Position
Location: La Crosse, WI

Candidates will be working directly with individuals with diverse medical needs and/or behavioral issues.

This position may involve hands-on personal cares such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfer assistance. Other duties may include community integration, grocery shopping, meal preparation, transportation to medical appointments and medication administration.

We are searching for positive, energetic individuals with the desire to make a difference in people’s lives! We are currently hiring for a full- time rotating first and second shift position. This direct support professional float position will provide supports to various programs in the Western Region including: La Crosse, Onalaska, Sparta, Whitehall and Black River Falls. All Direct Support Professional positions require a commitment of every other weekend.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable vehicle with proper insurance
  • CNA License/Personal care worker Certificate – Helpful but not required

These transfer requests are good for 6 months and final approval lies with Program manager and District manager.
