We are committed to flexible, accessible and family-centered supports and services that honor the dignity, respect the rights and maximize the potential of each individual. We are currently accepting applications for Direct Support Professionals to work in our Community-Based Residential Facility.
Candidates will be working directly with 8 male individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues. In this fast paced environment, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a program with many different avenues of assistance, diagnoses, and personalities.
These positions may involve hands-on personal cares as well as planning, transporting and accompanying individuals on community engagement activities. Transportation into the community is done using company vehicles which may include a minivan, wheelchair van, or wheelchair bus. Some cares may involve changing incontinent products, grooming, feeding, washing in a shower, wiping off faces, and managing manipulative behaviors. At times clients may inappropriately grab staff or make sexually inappropriate comments that will need to be redirected according to the clients’ behavioral support plan. Staffs are responsible for administering medications. The use of mechanical lift devices is required in this program. Recording all pertinent information and frequent follow-up with program manager while maintaining the confidentiality of all clients is required.
All Direct Support Professional positions require a commitment of every other weekend and rotating holidays. We are searching for Full-Time and Part-Time candidates that are positive, energetic individuals with the desire to make a difference in people’s lives!
To be eligible for a Direct Support Professional position, you must be at least 18 years old. Many positions require a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record. Experience with developmental disabilities/mental health desired – however comprehensive paid training provided.

To be approved for a transfer, you must meet the following specifications:
- Be out of your 90 day introductory period.
- Be in good standing (no disciplinary action in last 6 months beyond written).
- Have been at current program for 90 days.
These transfer requests are good for 6 months and final approval lies with Program manager and District manager.
